Fondy CARES received $5000 to help girls recognize their abilities, gain knowledge of resources help them grow strong in mind and body, identify, and develop leadership skills, and live safely cultivating self-esteem and self-respect, so they can achieve their full potential. They also want the girls to thrive with their peers at home and achieve their full academic potential.
This grant is part of our Strategic granting program. Strategic grants are designed to inspire and solidify strong partnerships between nonprofit organizations in the Fond du Lac area. Specifically, these Strategic Grants are meant to be three-year agreements whereby at least two collaborating nonprofit agencies seek to address a larger issue confronting women and/or girls in the Fond du Lac area.
